Our SUP hire is all about getting on the water your way. Whether you’re hiring a board or bringing your own, you’re free to paddle at your own pace and enjoy the lake without structured sessions or coaching. It’s perfect for beginners, families, or anyone looking for a laid-back experience — no experience needed, just step on and go.

We provide quality boards for hire, and you’re also welcome to bring your own board. Life vests are required for all paddlers to keep things safe on the water.

 

Weather & Safety:
Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled in unsuitable weather conditions.

Bring your own board or Hire with Whitemills

Enjoy paddleboarding on our private lake, exclusively reserved for SUP during your booking. Whether you hire one of our boards or bring your own, you’ll have access to calm, open water with no other activities running at the same time — ideal for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxed paddle.

 

After a short safety briefing, you’re free to head out and explore the designated area at your own pace, enjoying the space in a safe and self-led environment.

Important Information:
•       Suitable for beginners (no experience required)
•       Must be able to swim 25m unaided
•       Maximum 1 person per board
•       All participants must follow on-site safety rules
•       Under 18s cannot go on the water alone

  • Stand up paddleboard & paddle (if hired)
  • Buoyancy aid (mandatory)
  • Leash (if hired)
  • Safety briefing

Session Info:

  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session
  • Late arrivals may result in reduced time on the water
